We recommend the Chinon Models FB354, FZ354 and FZ354A. These have been used by Commodore and work very well with the imaging software.

The Panasonic JU-257 (which was used by Amiga Technologies for their [[faq:imaging_disks:a1200_magic_pack|"Magic Pack" A1200's]]) also work well, **however** you will have to make some [[article:hard:fixing_the_amiga_technologies_a1200_fdd_connector|changes to your motherboard]] (if it is a Magic Pack model) [[article:hard:modifying_the_pansonic_ju-257a605p_fdd|and the drive]] to make it 100% Amiga compatible, and compatible with the imaging software.
